Frank (PD3F) is an active Dutch radio amateur from Wezep, Netherlands. Licensed since 1998, he enjoys experimenting with many aspects of amateur radio, including digital modes, FT8 and SSTV. Frank operates on several bands including 40 meters, 20 meters and 2 meters. Over the years he has participated in many special callsigns and activities, including LX/PD3F from Luxembourg, PD75F for the 75th anniversary of VERON and 75 years of freedom, and activations from Texel Island. With a wide range of equipment and antennas, Frank continues to explore different modes and techniques while sharing his passion for amateur radio with the worldwide community.
