ARISS SSTV Series 33 – ISS Robot 36 SSTV on 437.550 MHz
ARISS has announced SSTV Series 33, the first Expedition 75 SSTV event from the International Space Station. The event is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 2 at 09:00 UTC.
SSTV images will be transmitted on 437.550 MHz FM using Robot 36. Because the ISS is moving at orbital velocity, listeners should allow for normal Doppler shift while receiving.
Station: International Space Station / ARISS
Event: SSTV Series 33
Start: October 2, 2026 at 09:00 UTC
End: October 6, 2026 — exact UTC end time still to be determined
Frequency: 437.550 MHz FM
SSTV mode: Robot 36
Transmission cycle: approximately 36 seconds on / 2 minutes off
Receiving the images
During a suitable ISS pass, tune around 437.550 MHz FM and compensate for Doppler shift as needed. Robot 36 is widely supported by common SSTV decoding software and mobile applications.
The announced transmission cycle is approximately 36 seconds of SSTV followed by a 2-minute pause. This gives listeners multiple opportunities to receive images during favourable ISS passes.
Submit your received SSTV images
ARISS is accepting received images in its official SSTV gallery. According to the ARISS announcement, gallery submissions are eligible for an official event certificate.
Please note: ARISS has announced Tuesday, October 6 as the final day, but the exact end time has not yet been published. SlowscanTV will update the event information if ARISS announces a confirmed end time.
